Local officials are keeping their fingers crossed that they'll be able to move ahead with the annual Home & Garden show.
Normally the event is held at the beginning of March each year, but this year, because of the pandemic, it'll being pushed back a month.
Executive Director John Desantis tells Larry and Kevin on the KDKA Radio Morning Show that there's a 75% likelihood of going forward.
"So far, so good. We have an entire program set up that we will be anticipating as COVID-friendly in every way and we're gonna be keeping our eyes open as we get closer to mid-April," he said.
The Home & Garden show is scheduled for April 9th through the 18th at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
Among the safety protocols in place: a mask requirement for attendees and exhibitors, one-way traffic in the aisles, a much more open floor plan and a timed-ticketed entry system.
