The push for a plastic bag ban in Pittsburgh is currently on hold.
City Council decided to delay the bill. Councilwoman Erica Strassburger introduced that legislation, but suggested to delay the bill. She told NewsRadio KDKA that there are still issues they need to work out and how it will be implemented.
"One is, insuring that we have our lawyers eyes on it just to make sure our t's are crossed and our I's are dotted. Second is, how we are going to structure enforcement," said Strassburger.
She added that she doesn't expect any major changes to the legislation.
