PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Early on Saturday morning, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police reported to a Shotspot alert in the 6600 block of Frankstown Avenue.
Officers responded to the site, where gunshots had been heard, at around 2:05 a.m.
The Zone 5 officers found a male with gunshot wounds to the torso and legs at the scene.
The male was rushed to a local hospital, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Crime Scene Unit and detectives from Major Crimes have opened investigations into the incident.
There have been no arrests made so far.
