According to the Steelers’ General Manager, the organization doesn’t know where Aaron Rodgers is.
Omar Khan tells Chris Mack on Westwood One Sports that he doesn’t know where the 4-time MVP quarterback is.
"I don't know where he is at this moment. We continue to have conversations and they're positive," Khan told Mack.
The Fan Morning show reported Thursday that Rodgers was expected to be in Pittsburgh this weekend, with the expectation that a new deal would get time.
Khan wouldn’t confirm that Rodgers is in town.
After Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley’s report, national NFL insiders like Ian Rapoport and other also reported that Rodgers is expected in town this weekend.
Rapoport said on "Good Morning Football" Friday that “finality is coming for the former and likely future quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.”
Rapoport says Rodgers is expected to spend the weekend in Pittsburgh and is “likely to play” though a deal is not done.
The NFL Network insider also said Rodgers has kept a line of communication open with his returning and new wide receivers this offseason.
