PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — At around 3 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, Pittsburgh Police officers in Zone 3 responded to a Shotspot notice and 911 call for gunshots in the 200 block of Estella Street in the Allentown neighborhood.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found just that: a crime scene, nothing more.
A victim was not found on the site.
However, a male victim with a gunshot wound to his lower leg arrived at a nearby hospital of his own accord shortly after the calls.
The male arrived in stable condition.
If any, the connection between the male gunshot victim and the crime scene is unknown at this point, but an investigation is being conducted on the event.
