
The City of Pittsburgh is beginning to reopen its senior centers.
The Department of Park and Recreation said the Healthy Active Living (Senior) Centers using a modified schedule.
Focal Point Centers in Homewood, Sheraden and the South Side Market House will be open Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm starting on July 19. The Greenfield center opens July 20 after kitchen renovations are completed.
Grab and go meal distribution will continue three days a week.
Healthy Active Living senior centers will reopen beginning August 2 using the 9am to 1pm modified schedule. The centers included are Glen Hazel, Hazelwood, Lawrenceville, Brighton Heights, Beechview, Mt. Washington and West End.
The City has yet to set reopening dates for the Morningside and Northview Heights centers.
