Police have identified a student at Shaler Area Elementary who made threats about shootings at school districts in the Pittsburgh area.
Investigators say the girl has admitted to posting the threats on social media.
In the meantime, the FBI continues to investigate threats against multiple school districts in the Pittsburgh area, threats authorities say are not credible.
The FBI says it is working closely with law enforcement in gathering intelligence, sharing information and tracking down leads and they say persons behind threats of school violence will be thoroughly investigated.
