Police investigating Homewood West shooting

Police are investigating after shots were fired in Homewood West Wednesday afternoon.

Around 3:05 p.m., officers responded to two ShotSpotter alerts, a total nine rounds fired on the 6700 block of Frankstown Road.

No victims were found at the but multiple shell casing were found at a gas station’s parking lot.

A vehicle and a gas pump were damaged.

Witnesses say two males, possibly juveniles were shooting at each other and both fled the scene on foot.

An investigation is ongoing.
