An arrest has been made in shooting death of a 29-year-old woman in Stowe Township this week.
Allegheny County Police say the shooting occurred Thursday shortly after 8am in an ally near the 700 block of Broadway Avenue.
A woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but later died.
On Friday, Allegheny County Police arrested 29-year-old Lauren Brown and have charged him in the killing of the woman and assaulting a man.
Brown was taken to the Allegheny County jail, charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and firearms violations. In addition, Brown also has state parole violations.
