Get Marty: Retired veteran gets mobility help from business owner who cares

This is what happens when a company cares and commits to helping a couple with mobility issues.

This is an emotional, touching Get Marty and it starts with one man who has been helping his elderly parents by carrying them up and down their stairs every single day. Harry Hairston, 91, is a retired veteran who is dealing with dementia and his lovely wife Betty, 85, needs help getting up and down the stairs of their home.

When my friend Carl D'Alicandro discovered how the Hairston's son was helping every day, Carl put his team at A+ StairLifts on the job to help them out. Watch the video on this page to see how they're doing it with not one, but two stairlifts that will instantly change their lives.

Carl didn't hesitate to help out and joined me at the Hairston home in Stanton Heights where his crews installed both stairlifts to get them safely up and down their stairs so they can not only get around inside the house, but they can also safely get to their basement and garage. Carl did this all for free, absolutely no charge. Why? Because he truly cares.

This isn't the first time Carl and his team have stepped up to help with Get Marty and you can bet it won't be the last.

We certainly need more people like Carl in the world and we cannot thank him enough for his amazing kindness and selflessness.
