Shantel Pizaro is sad, hurt, angry and she should be. On September 11th her 15-year-old son, Steven Eason, was gunned down while trying to break up a fight at the Haunted Hills Hayride in North Versailles. Since the shooting there has been no arrest, no viable leads, and not one of the nearly 100 eyewitnesses has come forward with any information.
The family of a 15-year-old boy killed in a shooting at a haunted hayride last month is begging for answers about his death. Steven Eason was looking forward to getting his driver's license and a job at Taco Bell in Penn Hills, according to his mother Shantel Pizaro.
"No one's child deserves this but I never would've ever imagined that my son would be murdered by someone. It's just every mother's worst nightmare." - Shantel Pizaro.
She's now asking for anyone with pictures or video from that night to reach out through her Facebook page.
Shantel joined me during my radio show to talk about her amazing son, the need for witnesses to come forward. W also brought together local business leaders who are stepping up to boost reward money.
