The area is preparing for severe storms possible for tonight and extreme temperatures are not far behind.
The storm is expected to hang around overnight, bringing with it potentially damaging conditions like wind and hail with it.
AccuWeather Meteorologist Matt Benz says the storm is on its way from the Midwest.
"These storms will transition east across the Great Lakes this afternoon before swinging southeast later this evening and into tonight across Western Pennsylvania. Damaging wind gusts will be the first and foremost concern, but could also see the risk for flash flooding as well."
It should be out of the way by Tuesday morning, but things are expected to heat up after, with highs in the 90s by mid-week.
