A South Side restaurant is closing.
Sultry Food & Bar announced on its website that the eatery has closed for good.
Located on the 1700 block of East Carson Street, Sultry operated for five years, offering comfort food, appetizers, main course meals, desserts and more.
“This year has presented challenges that have become too much to bear,” owners Brian Forrester and Melissa Barth said in a goodbye post.
Located in the former site that housed Tres Rios Mexican Kitchen opened in 2022 after starting at Smallman Galley and then, Federal Galley.

The couple adds that Brian is “exploring the idea of the Private Chef industry” and to continue to follow them on social media for updates.
