ShotSpotter alerted police Wednesday to three dozen rounds fired in Crafton Heights.

It happened a few minutes after 12 p.m. in the 1200 block of Dickens Street.

Officers say multiple vehicles and a house were hit by bullets but no one was injured.

The shots were fired from an SUV spotted last night on the Parkway East.

A police chase ended when the Kia Sportage crashed into a house in Squirrel Hill South around 7 p.m.

The front porch of the home in the 2900 block of Beechwood Boulevard was heavily damaged.

The teenage boy driving the SUV was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding and several traffic violations.
