Troopers looking for man accused of threating to shoot police

State Police are looking for a man accused of threatening to shoot police officers and their families.

The Westmoreland County District attorney's office says 59-year-old Damon Deemer of Bell Township is being sought by PA State Police after he had made threats to travel to several State Police stations, saying he would shoot troopers, dispatchers and their families.

Prior to that, Prosecutors say Deemer also showed up with a loaded magazine Friday night at the Forest Hills Police station, and broke through a locked door to get inside.

He was detained and officers removed six guns from his car.

Eventually he was released before ending up in an auto accident Sunday where his vehicle was towed, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

Anyone with information on Deemer's whereabout is asked to call the Kiski Valley State Police station at 724-697-5780.
