An unusual case out of Bethel Park.

Police arrested a husband and wife and it all started with a food delivery that never showed up.

Officers were asked to check on the welfare of a DoorDash driver who did not deliver a customer's order and then was missing for several hours.

They found Sonya Wilson's abandoned car in the parking lot of the restaurant.

And behind the business, police say they found her husband, Jacob Wilson of Woodsfield, Ohio.

She later went to police and said her husband assaulted and threatened her. That's when he was arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, and Harassment.

Police later learned that Sonya had gone to another nearby business and spent three hours inside before leaving with stolen property.

So she too was arrested on multiple counts, including Burglary and Receiving Stolen Property, and possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
