Two men shot in separate Pittsburgh shootings; one victim critical

The shootings occurred last night in Homewood and Mt. Washington.

Two men were shot last night in Pittsburgh.

Shotspotter alerted police to gunfire in the 7100 block of Frankstown Avenue just before 11 p.m.

Officers found a man there shot in the back. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Earlier, police got a 911 call about a shooting in Mt, Washington. It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Jasper Street.

A 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

One person was detained at the scene.
