A police chase that started in Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon ended in the Fox Chapel area.

Pittsburgh officers were trying to execute a search warrant in Mt. Washington for a car linked to a shooting last week.

The driver, 24-year-old Allan Littlejohn, with 21-year-old Carter Hodges in the passenger seat, drove away.

The pursuit went to Route 28 where police stopped the vehicle after it exited at Harmarville.

Dana Samarco saw it unfolding and talked about it on the Big K Morning Show.

“A passenger got out and ran down toward the light where another officer had blocked the off-ramp and he grabbed him by gunpoint, had him on the ground and then he waited for the other officer to come up and they dragged the other guy out of the car and they arrested him,” said Samarco.

Samarco said she was relieved that the incident didn’t become something more serious.

She added her two young sons were in the car with her at the time of the incident.

Samarco praised the police officers on the scene for being able to handle the incident professionally and without putting anyone in danger.

Both Littlejohn and Hodges are being held in the Allegheny County Jail. They're facing attempted homicide charges in a shooting on October 2 in the 200 block of Wilbur Street.
