PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) The Sue Murray pool was closed on Saturday due to safety concerns following a 911 response in the area.
According to police, they were responding to a possible armed carjacking across the street from the pool on the 300 block of Cedar Avenue.
Police were called to the scene around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, closing the pool out of precaution.
Investigators discovered that gun was discharged during an altercation between two men before one drove away from the scene.
The driver of the car then abandoned the car and continued running on foot.
The investigation is still ongoing.
