Federal officials have confirmed that a Mercer County woman accused of participating in the riot at the U.S, Capitol last month has been arrested.
Rachel Powell was taken into custody Thursday evening in New Castle.
She lives in Sandy Lake.
Powell is accused of smashing a window during the riot and using a bullhorn to direct rioters inside the Capitol.
Viral video appears to show her doing so, while wearing a pink hat.
Powell is charged with Obstruction, Depredation of Government Property, Violent Entry, and Disorderly Conduct. She'll be in court Friday afternoon.
Another arrest was also made locally in connection to the Capitol riots on Thursday.
Peter Schwartz of Kentucky was arrested in Uniontown for his connection to the January 6 riots.
