A West Mifflin woman awaiting trial on charges for physically abusing a two-year-old boy in her care has been arrested for violating her bond.
24-year-old Ayawana Johnson was arrested back in December of 2020 for three counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangering the welfare of children.
The two-year-old boy she was caring for suffered deep burns in several areas.
Johnson had posted bail but it's been determined she violated the conditions of her bond.
Detectives found her in a closet of a residence on the Northside.
