A woman is charged with fatally shooting her boyfriend in Cranberry Township.
The alleged incident occurred early Sunday morning, when police were called to the home for a reported disturbance on Brandywine Drive.
A woman identified as 26-year-old Amanda Hughes reportedly admitted to dispatchers to firing a weapon and then ran from her home to a neighbor's place.
Once on the scene, police found 30-year-old Anthony Smith, shot multiple times.
He later died at a local hospital. Hughes is in the Butler County Prison, charged with one count of criminal homicide.
