
What flavors do you want to try in 2022?
StudyFinds.org surveyed 2,000 Americans to find out what flavor profiles they're looking forward to in the upcoming year.
46 percent revealed that they gravitate towards mint-chocolate-flavored items.
Lemongrass flavors intrigued 36 percent, while 34 percent are interested in adding hot honey to their lineup.
Other flavors that Americans want to give a try include green or black tea, citrus-flavored items, as well as international flavors like mango, red bean, and teaberry.
OnePoll conducted the survey in collaboration with Premier Protein.
The finding revealed that 82% of people want to maintain a healthy diet and prioritize tasty flavors. In fact, many say they would eat healthier food if they could drink them in protein shakes instead of eating them as 58 percent do not think healthy food tastes good. A whopping 72 percent admit they would eat healthier if the food tasted better.
However, 73 percent revealed that they were impressed with healthy options like veggie burgers, plant-based mac and cheese,and cauliflower tater tots.
And what do Americans love to eat when the cravings hit?
It was almost an even split between sweet and salty foods with 54 percent and 49 percent, respectively.
Sweet choices include ice cream (42 percent) and cookies (40 percent), while top savory choices include pizza (43 percent), pasta (40 percent), and French fries (39 percent).
Apples and bananas are the top choices for fruits (58 and 57 percent), with oranges (55 percent) and blueberries (52 percent) following closely behind.
