United States Senator John Fetterman is not impressed by how fellow Democrats behaved during Tuesday night’s address to Congress by President Donald Trump.

At the beginning of the address, Rep. Al Green (D-TX) was removed from the chamber after a disruption.

Other members silently protested, holding up signs that said things like “Musk Steals”, “Save Medicaid”, “False” and more.

The protests largely fell on deaf ears and some are saying Democrats haven’t learned from their big loss this past November.

Fetterman posted to “X” on Wednesday calling the protests “A sad cavalcade of self owns and unhinged petulance.”

He also talked about how the protest only helped Trump and that Democrats are “becoming the metaphorical car alarms that nobody pays attention to – and it may not be the winning message.”

Fetterman has been criticized for meeting with Trump before taking office at his Mar-a-Lago home in January.

The senior senator has gained national attention for usually going to the beat of his own drum and this time is no different.
