PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Police responded to a pair of deadly shootings overnight, and a third non-fatal incident.
The first incident occurred just after midnight on the 2700 block of Zephyr Ave. in Sheraden.
Police and EMS responded to the scene to find a male with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and no suspect descriptions have been given at this time.
The second incident occurred on the 2700 block of Frankstown Avenue in Homewood around 2:00 a.m.
When responders arrived, they found a male facedown in the street with a gunshot wound to his head.
Medics pronounced the victim deceased.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Prior to the multiple fatal shootings, there was a nonfatal incident around 11:00 p.m. on Tioga Street of Homewood.
Officers were notified of a juvenile male with a gunshot wound to the back of his left leg.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
All investigations are ongoing, and it is unknown if any of the incidents are connected.
