Police are investigating after a bicyclist was hit by a semi-truck Downtown.
It happened just before 10:30 a.m. at Liberty Avenue and Stanwix Street.
Pittsburgh Police, Fire and EMS responded to scene where they found the man, who was hit by the truck.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and went into immediate surgery.
Police say a primary investigation shows the truck, traveling inbound, had a green light when the cyclist tried to cross Stanwix.
The drivers of the truck stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.
