HARRISBURG (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Governor Tom Wolf announced Friday that Hall Industries will be streamlining its operations into a new facility, which is planned to go in Mercer County.
If you're unfamiliar, Hall Industries is an "engineering and manufacturing company with multiple locations in the commonwealth."
The newest location would create 57 new jobs and relocate to the Cooper Industrial Commons in Grove City.
All other Pennsylvania facilities will remain open as the focus shifts to preparing the new Mercer branch.
Hall Industries has plans to invest over $11.8 million into the expansion project and maintain 184 current roles and establish the aforementioned 57 new full-time positions.
"Hall Industries has been rooted in western Pennsylvania—a region known for being an industrial powerhouse—for decades, and we are excited to support their continued growth in the commonwealth," said Governor Wolf.
"This expansion will not only redevelop and bring new life to an underutilized brownfield site but also will bring new, good-paying jobs to communities that have recently experienced displacement within the manufacturing industry."
