'Gotta put T.J. Watt on the trading block' take is the final straw

We need to get this Steelers regular season started.

Yes, because we want football back, but right now, we need it to count so the national media can spend more time talking about the X's and O's and less about insane takes and trade ideas.

FOX Sports Radio's Ben Maller said this week that the Steelers should've keep Kenny Pickett.

Even though Maller things Pickett is bad, he says the Steelers won't be better with Russell Wilson.

On Friday, Jason McIntyre, filling in for Colin Cowherd, said the Steelers should trade T.J. Watt.

"I think you gotta put T.J. Watt on the trading block and after your heads are done exploding in Pittsburgh," said McIntyre.

McIntyre says the Steelers defense is old and the most expensive in the league.

The problem with the Steelers is the offense and that is what rules the NFL.

McIntyre says the Steelers can get two number 1 picks for Watt and that can help turn the offense around.

The Steelers won't trade Watt and the national media heads are just throwing stuff against the wall.
