The First Four in Dayton begins, featuring Belmont, a mid-major and at-large selection, and Temple from the AAC, under final-year head coach Fran Dunphy. The Ohio Valley Conference, where Belmont plays, owns a 6-28 in the first-round of the NCAAs. Temple's last game was a loss in the American Conference tournament to Wichita State. The opening game will feature a pair of 16-seeds in Fairleigh Dickinson and Prairie View A & M.
