How did a Southern debutante grow up to be a straight-talking Secret Service agent working with the President? That's the premise of Lauren Lusby Fernandez's new book, "Talk Back Barbie!"

This comedy focuses on women in male-dominated careers and how they must overcome a lot of unforeseen hurdles. It is a book that brings a lot of laughter to difficult situations. Her motto in life is "If you trip and fall, laugh first, then get up and keep going! Because the only way you fail is to never get up." And that is exactly the biggest take-away of all--she never stayed down.
