According to Nashville’s WKRN News Channel 2, “the entertainment concept and bar will be located at 411 Broadway at the former site of the Nashville Sporting Club. The three-story, 40,000+ square foot property was purchased by Brooks in December, 2021 via 411, LLC.”

“We feel very lucky to have the chance to be part of Lower Broad, which is arguably THE hottest spot in the country,” Brooks told the station. “The goal is a classic honky-tonk that welcomes all and encourages love and kindness while playing the greatest music in the world in the home of Country Music!”

Rumors of Garth opening his own bar started to swirl last month when Nashville Business Journal reported Garth was "eyeing a honky-tonk at 411 Broadway,” while "a number of public records also point to the involvement of Brooks’ camp.”

The dive bar concept isn’t a new one for Brooks, who has formerly commented on the idea of owning his own bar in Nashville saying it “made sense.”

“It makes sense, it can't come soon enough for me,” he said in a press conference back in August. “It would be an honor if I ever got to do it. I know exactly the way I'd want it to be because I live in the dive bars.”

Broadway is currently home to many honky tonk bars owned by artists including Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, John Rich, Jason Aldean and Kid Rock.

Still no word on the name of Brooks’ establishment.
