After hearing several weeks of testimony and about nine hours of deliberations, jurors in Rebecca Grossman's murder trial have reached a verdict.
Grossman has been found guilty on five counts - two counts of murder, two counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and one felony count of hit-and-run driving resulting in death.
KNX News' Margaret Carrero has been following the trial from the beginning.
Grossman's charges stem from a 2020 hit-and-run crash that killed 11-year-old Mark Iskander and his eight-year-old brother Jacob in Westlake Village.

Jurors heard testimony from the victims' mother, individuals who witnessed the deadly crash, expert witnesses, Grossman's husband and her daughter.
According to black box data from Grossman's car, the socialite was doing 81 mph two seconds before the crash that killed the brothers and 73 mph at impact.
Throughout the trial, the defense attempted to shift blame for the crash onto Grossman's then-boyfriend, former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Scott Erickson, but an expert witness for the prosecution testified there was no physical evidence to support the claim.
Filled with controversy until the end, prosecutors asked the judge Friday to order Grossman into custody, claiming the socialite leaked videos that weren’t allowed to be used in the trial to a reporter.
The judge declined to immediately order Grossman into custody, saying he needed to review the matter further.
One of Grossman's attorneys told the judge that it was the first he had heard about the alleged leaks, and said that the email sent to the reporter didn’t necessarily come from Grossman.
Legal experts tell KNX News they are not surprised by the result of the case. She could face up to 34 years to life in state prison.
