LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Kanye West’s newest collaboration could employ homeless people living in Los Angeles’ Skid Row area with modeling gigs.

West, who legally changed his name to Ye, is working with the streetwear brand Skid Row Fashion Week on a new fashion line with the goal of doing a fashion show together, according to TMZ.

David Sabastian, the founder of Skid Row Fashion Week, told TMZ he met with West earlier this month while West was recording music at his studio in the L.A. Arts District — near Skid Row — and they decided to create a “Yeezy X Skid Row Fashion Week” clothing collaboration.

Sabastian said his company donates a portion of all sales to those living on Skid Row, while his factory that makes the clothes employs the homeless. He added that his Yeezy partnership will use 100% of the proceeds to help the homeless on Skid Row.

The fashion line is set to be released on Feb. 22, with the money from the sales to be used to employ more homeless people at the Skid Row Fashion Week factory, TMZ reported.

Sabastian also told the outlet he and West are in the early stages of planning a fashion show that would hire people from the factory to model the clothes.
