The victim was reportedly found by a Good Samaritan in an elevator with a gunshot wound to one of her legs, police told CBS Los Angeles.

The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment, but her condition was not immediately known.

Police said there is no suspect description available but a vehicle seen leaving the scene, possibly a silver Honda Civic, was impounded later in the morning.
