Police in Texas have located and arrested the suspect in a shooting at a high school outside of Dallas Wednesday that left at least four people wounded.
Authorities said 18-year-old Timothy Simpkins faces three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police say they began getting phone calls at 9:15 a.m., regarding a shooting on the second floor of Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas. Investigators confirmed there were four victims. One person reported having minor injuries and refused treatment. Three others were rushed to the hospital.

Police confirmed at least two of the victims shot were already in surgery. Authorities said three of the victims were students, and one other victim may have been a teacher. Police said roughly 1,700 students were in the building Wednesday.
Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Kolbye spoke to the media Wednesday morning regarding the shooting at Timberview High School, which is located in Arlington but is part of the Mansfield ISD.
“I want the message to be out there that this is not something to continue. We will investigate you,” Kolbye said, noting the FBI was assisting the investigation. “The federal government partners will also be able to investigate you if you’re not living in our city and will bring you to a successful prosecution.”
Police did not believe the shooting was random and said two students had been fighting when another pulled out a gun. Arlington officers identified their person of interest as 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins, who authorities believe left the scene in a 2018 Silver Dodge Charger.
Mansfield ISD gave the "all clear" once police confirmed the threat was over. Parents flocked to the school to reunite with their children. The school district canceled Thursday classes at Timberview and offered sessions with grief counselors.
A video taken by a student in the school and posted to social media shows a classroom full of students scrambling when they heard gunshots fired in the building.
