DENTON (1080 KRLD) - The Denton County Sheriff's Office has nabbed more than a dozen suspected child predators.
Sheriff Tracy Murphree says they ran an undercover operation this month, with deputies posing as children in online chat rooms. He says there were several suspects who tried to arrange a meeting in-person with someone they thought was underage.
He says those suspects are charged with online solicitation of a minor. The Sheriff says it's important for parents to monitor their children's on-line and social media activity.
