DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Senior Marshall high school football player Hayden Blalock was driving along a farm-to-market road about five miles north of Marshall this morning.
DPS troopers say he hit a wild hog in the road. It happened around 6:30 this morning. Troopers say his pickup truck rolled and he died.
The Marshall school district posted on Facebook that he was a member of Marshall FFA and the Maverick Football team.
David Weaver is with the Marshall school district. He says, "Everybody is asking questions today. We are in that grief stage. Right now, our concern is being there for Hayden's family and for students and his friends."
