You could be casting your vote at the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas this November.
Dallas County leaders are talking with the Dallas Mavericks and arena officials about turning the venue into an election super center.
The deal’s not set in not stone yet, but Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins says the outlook is positive.
"We need a place where the people feel comfortable going. Where they can be six feet apart, and where you can get a heck of a lot of voting machines so you're not waiting around all day," Jenkins says. "The AAC's perfect for that."
If an agreement is made, the venue would be transformed as part of the Election Super Center Project, which intends to transform several NBA, NHL and NFL arenas into voting locations.
The project is expected to improve poll access for more than a million people nationwide.
