DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas County has yet to reach the apex of the coronavirus pandemic, but County Judge Clay Jenkins says there are positive signs.

While Dallas County reported 251 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, there were no new fatalities for the first time since April 20.

Jenkins said health officials are watching closely for a decline in the number of cases.  He said that will be the major sign the peak has been achieved.

On Monday, Judge Jenkins gave an update on the KRLD Morning News.
