Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson says he and other leaders will meet today to talk about using the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center as an overflow hospital in case North Texas hospitals run out of space because of the Coronavirus.

When the outbreak started getting bad in March, the convention center was prepared to handle patients but it was never needed.


But with the recent surge in cases, Johnson thinks it's best to be prepared.

Yesterday, Dallas County reported an additional 391 people had tested positive with four more deaths.

Tarrant County, meanwhile, reports 460 new positive test result and one additional death.
