LAKE DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Lake Dallas ISD says students at Lake Dallas High School in Corinth will shift entirely to online learning through Labor Day because of the heavy rain that hit the city overnight.
Students at Lake Dallas High School were able to choose in-person or online learning starting with class yesterday, but the district says in-person learning would be suspended through Friday following flooding on campus.
Administrators say, "heavy storms combined with in-progress construction" that led to flooding.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause families, but we are excited for the return of all in-person students on Tuesday," Lake Dallas ISD administrators wrote in a note online.
