A killer is on the run in Irving where a man was gunned down at a Las Colinas apartment complex last night.
The first 911 calls came in about 8:30 p.m. saying a man was down in the parking lot of the complex on Pleasant Run near Highway 161 and Walnut Hill.
He was rushed to Parkland where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives and crime scene technicians spent much of the rest of the night on-scene looking for evidence and talking to potential witnesses.
They're also hoping some video turns up that might give them a glimpse of the gunman -- or gunmen.
