DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Gazing up at the stars, wondering what it would be like to be up in space will soon become a dream come true for non-astronauts.
SpaceX is looking for passengers. Four people will soon feel closer to reaching the stars. SpaceX is looking for customers to board their Crew Dragon, a vehicle that will be used to transport them from Earth up into orbit.
"Almost a joy ride for sever days in orbit around earth." Justin Bachman with Bloomberg explains this is not the first time time regular people have been taken on a space tourism flight. "The Russians have flown seeveral people in space before as a way to make money." he says.
This mission is partnered with Space Adventures, a booking agent for these types of excursions.
Aside from money, physical fitness willl also determine your eligibility for this purchase. Bachman adds, "There is a lot of gravty force on your body. If you have heart problems you may not make it. It's not for everyone. There are health limitations."
Neither the flight's launch date nor price of ticket have been announced.
