DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dive teams will no longer search White Rock Lake for a woman missing since February 5.

Dallas police and Texas Game Wardens have been searching for Weltzin Garcia, 26, and her estranged boyfriend, Alfonso Hernandez, 28, since they were reported missing from Grand Prairie.

Hernandez' body was found Sunday. The medical examiner performed an autopsy Monday, finding no obvious sign of trauma.

Dive teams have been using metal detectors and sonar to search for Garcia. Dallas police say they are removing dive teams, but they will still search the lake from a helicopter for some sign of Garcia.

Dive teams would return if the helicopter spots something.

"I can feel my sister crying," says Garcia's twin sister, Atziry Garcia Mireles. "I know she's alive."

Mireles is now caring for the couple's two children.

"He's calling me, 'Mommy.' It's very emotional for me," she says. "But I'm not going to break down. I'm going to be strong for them. They need to know everything is going to be okay."

Before the two disappeared, Grand Prairie police issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez. Grand Prairie police say the warrant stemmed from a domestic assault case in January.

Police will also search other areas between the lake and Grand Prairie where the couple may have been, using cell phone "pings" to try to identify places they stopped.
