EL PASO (1080 KRLD) - His car failed inspection so he shot the mechanic, that's what police say happened at an El Paso auto shop.
Police say 60-year-old Arturo Garcia took his car to be inspected Monday night and when it failed investigators say he started arguing with the auto shop owner. Garcia then pulled a gun and shot the victim and another store worker.
Garcia eventually surrendered to police and is now being held on $1.5 million bail.
The unidentified shop owner is in critical condition this morning, the other employee suffered a minor wound and was treated and released.
