After months of speculation, the top of the NFL Draft is becoming more and more clear.

Trevor Lawrence is going No. 1 to the Jaguars, Zach Wilson No. 2 to the Jets and then it was reported Sunday night the 49ers are deciding between Mac Jones and Trey Lance at No. 3. This would mean Ohio State QB Justin Fields could potentially slide, and if that is the case keep an eye on the Patriots and a potential trade up.

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, the Patriots, Eagles and Vikings are three teams who have been calling teams in the top 10, specifically the Lions and Panthers at No. 7 and No. 8. The Cowboys own the No. 10 pick.

Pelissero notes the teams the Patriots have spoken to believe their target would be Fields. Over the last few months it's been reported the Patriots are "really high" on the Ohio State QB.

Trading from No. 15 to No. 7 or 8 would cost much less than going all the way to No. 4, which some have speculated in recent weeks. That might be something Bill Belichick would be willing to do.

We'll see how it all plays out Thursday night.
