Nobody is saying much about last night's Zoom meeting of Big 12 presidents and athletic directors to talk about reports that Texas and Oklahoma want to bolt the conference to join the SEC.

Only eight of the Big 12 schools were represented because OU and UT did not participate.

Commissioner Bob Bowlsby shared notes from the meeting with some in the media. Speaking in generalities, Bowlsby's notes say things like the conference members "value their traditions and history of success."

Apparently, much of the discussion focused on financial matters including the conference's TV contracts.

Big 12 member Texas Tech's Chancellor Dr. Tedd Mitchell took to Twitter to talk about how unhappy he is: "Like many across our state and within the footprint of our league, I’ve been extremely disappointed by the actions and intentions of our friends in Austin and Norman. From day one of the Big 12 Conference’s existence, Texas Tech has been a proud and trustworthy partner."
