A two-alarm fire has done heavy damage to a southwest Fort Worth apartment building.
The flames broke out just past 4 a.m. and firefighters rolled to The Retreat at River Ranch, a complex of two-story buildings next door to Hulen Mall.
The fire was already through the roof of one building and commanders quickly called a second alarm, eventually bringing in nearly two dozen pieces of firefighting equipment. No injuries have been reported.
