WYLIE (1080 KRLD)- Wylie police arrested an 18-year-old they say ran someone over on purpose.
Police got the call Sunday night about the accident in the area of Ray Hubbard Way and Richland Chambers Court. They found the 25-year-old victim with major injuries and learned Mahey Mohammed struck the man on purpose after they got into some sort of argument.
Police caught up with Mohammed as he was driving back home where he admitted what happened. He's now under arrest and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
The victim is in the ICU with multiple broken bones.
