A seven-year legal battle appears to be over and Delta Air Lines will be permitted to keep using a gate at Dallas Love Field.
The dispute involves Southwest Airlines which wants more space at Dallas Love Field.
Southwest uses 17 of the airport's 20 gates and shares another one with Delta.
Today, the Dallas City Council is expected to vote on a deal that will allow Delta to use Love Field for at least six more years.
The resolution before the council says the city and "Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, and Alaska Airlines have agreed to a proposed settlement of the case."
Dallas will reportedly pay Alaska Airlines $200,000 a year, in return, apparently for Delta getting to use one of Alaska Air's two Love Field Gates.
This means Southwest will no longer have to share that gate with Delta.
